Mr. Layrisson is a personal injury lawyer and corporate attorney practicing in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He is a founding member of the firm. He was admitted to the bar in 1991 for all state and federal courts in Louisiana.

He has been admitted pro hac vice in various state and federal courts to handle significant cases in Texas, New York, Missouri, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

His practice is focused on trial work and business consulting with an emphasis on complex commercial matters, personal injury, insurance, corporate and class actions.

Other areas of practice include burn cases, employment law, intellectual property, expropriation, local government law, legal malpractice, oil and gas, maritime, as well as select criminal cases.

In his career, Mr. Layrisson has tried personal injury and commercial cases and obtained judgments, verdicts, and settlements in excess of a hundred million dollars and has argued successfully before the Louisiana Supreme Court.

Mr. Layrisson attended the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he graduated Order of the Coif.

He was a Member of the Louisiana Law Review. Mr. Layrisson was awarded American Jurisprudence awards for the highest grade in his law school classes for Federal Courts, Torts, the Administration of Criminal Justice and also had the highest grade in Louisiana Civil Law Property.

He is a member of the New Orleans Bar Association and many other organizations. Mr. Layrisson attended Tulane University and Louisiana State University before his admission to law school.

He is from New Orleans, raised in Ponchatoula, and currently resides in Old Metairie and the North Shore with his wife Claire, their four children, and their Australian Shepherds.
